Senior Exploration Geologist
GeoPool is looking for experienced exploration geologists to organize and manage our field operations. The position is permanent and starts at the earliest convenience. The workplace is located either in our Finnish or Swedish headquarter offices, or you can work flexibly remotely. The position includes infrequent travelling to project localities.
Work tasks
- Managing exploration activities (diamond drilling, geochemical surveying, trenching, etc.)
- Planning of exploration activities
- Interpretation of results and reporting
- Managing and mentoring personnel
- Communication with landowners and stakeholders
- Communication with clients and contractors
- Establishing HSE and quality control procedures
- Project budgeting and making contracts
